Little Miss's Acorn Pouch

About This Pattern

It was a lazy fall afternoon that found my daughter (“Little Miss”) and I at the playground. The leaves had just begun to turn and every once in a while, we heard the delightful “pop” of an acorn hitting the slide… Which, of course, gave me an idea: how much fun would it be to roll as many acorns as we could find down the slide?

It turned out to be nearly an hour full of fun, but there was one problem. Our hands weren’t big enough to collect more than a couple dozen acorns at a time. So when I got home, I designed Little Miss her very own acorn pouch! I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

  1. I made it from wool roving yarn and felted it (my first intentional felting project) for texture and to keep its shape better when empty. I get a lot of compliments on it.Thank you for this pattern!
